Superfast fibre to be made available in more rural areas of Scotland

Fiber Optics

BT Openreach have announced plans to roll out fibre broadband to a further 200 communities in Scotland. The roll out, which is to include Aberdeenshire, Ayrshire and Angus, will see customers in more rural areas have access to superfast broadband connections for the first time.

This is great news for all existing and prospective customers of MDG.

The increased data capabilities of fibre provides an excellent opportunity for businesses to not only enjoy significant cost savings, but also future proof their business telephony.

With the help of MDG’s new subsidiary, MDG Telecoms, many customers have capitalized on the increased data capacity in their locality by upgrading to SIP based telephone systems. With this our customers have seen their line rental slashed and their calls charges drastically reduced, while also improving their business telephony functionality and usability.

If you think your business is in need of a telephony revamp and could use local, friendly advice, then do not hesitate  getting in touch with MDG Group.
