After graduating with a degree in business, Douglas trained as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, going on to work for them in the UK and Bermuda. Having gained significant experience in the oil and gas industries and with an international telecoms carrier, Douglas went on to be the Finance Director of a television media group before establishing MDG Group in 1998.

With twenty years experience in the Energy and Telecoms markets, Douglas is constantly challenging supply-company pricing and performance as a champion of our customers. Whilst managing and growing the very successful team at MDG Group, Douglas has become a recognised expert in his field and regularly speaks at business events on energy risk management and purchasing strategy.
